Bald Eagle Vertical

Another shot from the Natco "Osprey-Fest", fall '07. The beauty of this is that the lake banks are high enough along the highway that this bird did this high-g vertical bank at nearly camera level. Sure wish they'd returned for fall '08, but no dice. Maybe next year...

I've been helping out a friend on Jersey Ave. (around the corner) who's house was trashed by Sandy. One of the pair flew over the house, and I pointed it out. She told me that the eagles are always there, they have a nest apparently. Perhaps chicks...

Bald Eagle Natco Lake

I saw the Bald Eagle today at around 4:30 pm on the Bayside of the lake. In flight. Beautiful!!
