When I was photographing this Northern Water Snake from canoe, I did not see the mating damselfies hitching a ride on its back. That happens to me a lot. Guess I should pay better attention. It was a neat surprise when I first saw them on the PC screen. Taken on the Oswego River, in the Pine Barrens.
