A Black-Throated Blue warbler, posing nicely for the camera at Sandy Hook. This individual had been jumping around, playing hide & seek in a brush pile. I was lucky to get him out in the open for a second or two. I find that many of the images I see of this species on the web have a _lot_ of saturation in the blues. That certainly makes a pretty picture, but I tried to stay true to what I saw, so apologies if this one seems a little "drab" compared to others you've run across.

NOTE: Have a look at that "splinter" on the left side of his perch. When I first looked at this on the computer moniter, I thought I'd found an individual with a really long back toe! ;-)
